形態特徵

Perennial herbs with stolons; stems erect, ascending or prostrate, puberulent at first, glabrescent toward base.
Leaves equally to unequally paired, membranaceous to chartaceous, somewhat puberulent or with conical trichomes to nearly glabrous above and along nerves beneath, rhombic-ovate, ovate to ovate-lanceolate, or narrowly elliptic to elliptic, 1.5-17 cm long, 1-6.5 cm wide, apex obtuse to acuminate, with an obscurely serrulate acumine, margins serrate to crenate-serrate, base broadly cuneate to obtuse, 3-nerved; petioles 0.6-6.0 cm long, puberulent or with conical trichomes; stipules 2, connate at base, cordiform, to 5 mm long, 6.4 mm wide.
Male inflorescences axillary, cymosely to paniculately arranged glomerules; peduncles to 5.1 cm long. Female inflorescences axillary, short cymosely arranged glomerules; peduncles to 1 cm long. Male flowers usually brownish red or deep red on upper parts, laterally compressed, obovoid; sepals 4, subequal, connate halfway, cymbiform; stamens 4; pistil rudimentary. Female flowers oblong-ovoid; sepals 3, unequal; staminodes 3; ovary oblong-ovoid.
Achenes tuberculate, laterally compressed, obliquely ellipsoid.

Flowering and fruiting December to June, or to July at higher altitudes.

分布

台灣 : throughout between 400-2,600 m, small ravines and moist forest edges and forest floors.
世界 : S. mainland China, Ryukyus and Vietnam.
